My new Craft Group and Quilting Classes will be starting soon!
Quilting Classes
As many of you will have heard already, Sheila (aka Bluepatch Quilter) is retiring from teaching her quilting classes this year. She has asked me to take over from her, so from September 2016, I’ll be teaching the quilting classes in Prestwick Community Centre. The classes I will be doing initially will be aimed more at beginners and advanced beginners.
If you want more information, you can pop along to the Bluepatch Quilter Open Day on Sunday 3rd April 2016, which is to be held at Alloway Public Hall – NOT in Prestwick! (Google Maps). I hope to bring along and display samples of the quilts that we’ll be making in the new classes in September.
There will be more information on how to book classes coming soon.
Craft Group
In the meantime, I’ll also be starting a new craft group. You are all welcome to come along to my weekly group with your favourite handcraft for cake, a cuppa and conversation while we work on our knitting, crocheting, quilting, sewing, cross stitch and embroidery.
Here are the details:
- Every Thursday starting 7th April 2016 from 12 noon to 2pm
- In Prestwick Community Centre (Google Maps)
- Open to anyone interested in knitting, crocheting, cross stitching, sewing, quilting and embroidery
- As the name suggests there will be cake (free!) to go along with our crafting 🙂
- Admission is £2 per session, payable on the day.
